They rely on an Epitome of Title?

Don't be mislead. An Epitome of Title of a manorial or feudal title does not prove ownership nor does it prove validity of a title. An Epitome of Title is for Land and Property and NOT Manorial or Feudal Titles.

Solicitors competent in Manorial Law would know this.

The authors of the above website appear to have cut & paste articles from the website of the Manorial Society of Great Britain?

(2010 - Burton v Walker - Proof of Ownership)
This refers to the following law:
“In 2010 a land mark case Burton v Walker made it clear that the law
would only support a proof of ownership using a full set of deeds dating
back to the 3rd of September 1189 or at least the latest 1290 if the lordship
was created after 1189”

Be extremely wary of any company/platform using Epitome of Title to convince you that this proves ownership and validity of a title. It does nothing of the sort. An Epitome of Title detailing who the holder or holders were for the previous 15 or even 50 years, is insufficient time due to the fact that most titles are 800-900 years old .

An Epitome of Title Deed is for land and property where  there are no deeds and the current holder is required by land registry to show that they have held the land/property for at least 15 years. This is especially prevalent with Adverse Possession of land or property where a holder must show that he/she has been in possession for at least 15 years. An Epitome of Titles Deed is certainly not for manorial or feudal titles. You would be well advised to steer clear of any company or platform trying to convince you that an Epitome of Title Deed validates a manorial or feudal title. It does nothing of the sort.

Burton and Bamford v Walker and others

The Lordship of the Manor or reputed Lordship or Manor of ireby, Ireby Fell, lancashire

As you can see, the purchasers thought that they held a genuine title until research proved that there was a dispute of ownership in past times.  We hold plenty more evidence to prove that an Epitome of Title Deed of a title holder over the past 15 or even 50 years is not proof of a valid ownership nor is it proof of a valid title.

Lord of the Manor or reputed Lordship of Shardelows in Cambridgeshire

Please see this page:  Cambridgeshire Manors

The village of Fulbourn in Cambridgeshire historically encompassed five distinct manors during the medieval period—Zouches Manor, Manners Manor, Colvilles Manor, Shardelowes Manor, and Fulbourn Manor—reflecting a fragmented landholding system typical of the region. Fulbourn Manor represents the sole surviving example, while the other four underwent dissolution or amalgamation by the 16th century, influenced by economic shifts, enclosure practices, and the broader impacts of the Dissolution of the Monasteries under Henry VIII.

Another example that if Shardelows was sold using an Epitome of Title deed to convince you that the title was genuine and the holder was valid, you would have been ripped off. It does not exist and basic research of British-History would confirm this without more in-depth research.

An Epitome of Title over 15 or even 50 years would not have highlighted the fact that the manor was absorbed by Fulham Manor in the 16th century.

As it is this title was sold fraudulently  -  Cambridgeshire Manors

Feudaltitles  (Seigneur) -  needs to get a grasp of manorial law and the interview with Manorial Society of Great Britain. He has been grossly misled over what an Epitome of Title is. It is not for manorial or feudal titles. He only needed to consult a competent solicitor. The problem is that Seigneur hides behind his silly childish title and does not want to give his real name and address, so no solicitor would bother to talk to him. No one should be giving him donations.

Is he condoning this because MSGB has made a donation???
