Manorial Law – Medieval Law

To research in full a manorial or feudal title, the researcher needs to be competent in old Latin.

Prior to the 17th/18th century all the manuscripts and deeds were written in old Latin

There a many platforms which advertise the services of so called experienced researchers of manorial and feudal titles and their history and lineage. However, very few are competent in old Latin and therefore their research is highly questionable. All the platforms listed on the 'Vendors of Fake Titles' page are certainly not competent in Old Latin and their so called research is non-existent. Don't believe the rubbish on their websites.

It also brings into question the coward who runs 'feudaltitles' and takes it upon himself to 'police' the internet with elementary  articles on his website without hard documented evidence in support of each claim. We say 'coward' because he hides being the childish title of Seigneur without displaying a contact name and address.  We doubt his research of titles is anything other than elementary. We doubt he is competent in old Latin. It takes weeks to research a title and collate all the details.
