Manorial House
manorialhouse.co.uk
Another platform selling invalid titles as genuine
- Lots wrong with this platform which replicates Manorial Counsel ltd in some of its wording and misleading articles of trying to convince viewers that they have the backing of a Barrister and solicitor. This is simply not true just as it is not true with the fraudulent company of Manorial Counsel ltd
- You cannot buy a genuine 'Lordship' title for less than £7,500 and even at that price a title needs to be thoroughly researched as we have found many not to be valid titles as there have been a break in the chain of previous holders or no transfer documents/deeds can be located.
- Manorial House does not display a contact address or office address?
- They refer to their novelty titles as : Heritable Lordship Style-Title. This is not a genuine title but a title in name of novelty value. Therefore the prices do not reflect this.
- Their in-house register is private and not a register of any official status. Therefore it is meaningless.
- This article on their website is completely false: ***
A separate legal review by an independent lawyer and legal consultant considered the specific use of the Style-Title, including the relevant principles of contract law, manorial and property law, misrepresentation, passing off and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. The following customer-facing opinion was expressly approved for publication:
“The Heritable Lordship Style-Title offered by Manorial House is a modern, private contractual product designed exclusively for personal heritage, ceremonial, and genealogical enjoyment. The structural framework, Terms & Conditions, and operative Deeds have been independently reviewed by legal consultants and confirmed to be lawful under the law of England and Wales. This product clearly distinguishes between historical research of a geographic manor and modern private naming conventions, ensuring complete transparency: it does not grant, transfer, or imply ownership of a historic lordship, manorial rights, peerage, nobility, or Crown dignity.”
— N.C., Lawyer & Independent Legal Consultant ***** This article is misleading viewers. Manorial House is only selling novelty titles. - We will research each title that they are selling.

3. Independent Barrister Review
Finally, the core legal proposition was independently considered by a JustAnswer UK Law verified Barrister-at-Law, who provided assurance after reviewing our product suite and confirmed no general prohibition on creating and granting a style-title of this kind.
- None of their titles are genuine. It is not possible to create a Heritable Lordship-Style Title to run along with a genuine title. The above article copies Manorial Counsel Ltd despicable false articles that they had a barrister advise them. Purchasers are buying a name only and NOT a title. It is a pretence. A so called Heritable Lordship Style Title is NOT a title. It is a flimsy name of a title. The purchaser does NOT own or hold a valid title, therefore they are novelty titles only.
- This article says it all: This product concerns a private MANORIAL HOUSE Heritable Lordship Style-Title associated with the historic Manor of Annables / Kinsbourne Hall. It is not a governmental, statutory or HM Land Registry record and does not certify ownership of the original lordship, land, buildings or manorial rights. The Holder has no authority over the historic manor, its land, residents or institutions.
- The titles are simply of novelty value and therefore the prices advertised are way over the top.
-
-
A separately created modern private Style-Title associated with a historic Manor. (No manorial title can be created to run alongside a genuine title. This is a scam that Manorial Counsel Ltd use also)
-
Transferred by a Manorial House Deed of Covenant, Grant and Assignment. Their deeds hold no legal validity
-
Expressly does not include land or manorial rights. This is the only 100% accurate comment on their website.
-
Is openly associated with the manor’s carefully researched history. ( Their novelty titles are only associated in name. It is all a pretence)
-
Recorded within MANORIAL HOUSE’s private verification system (Their registration system is private and holds no legal validity)
-
May be inherited / passed through a persons estate. (It is only a name and nothing more. They are NOT titles)
Lastly their website does display a 'Disclosure' This is the context:

All these titles are novelty.
Ask how they have acquired these titles????? They have not acquired any of them legally. We will research each title and then detail our research of each title with its own page on this platform. We suspect that most of them are escheat titles or held by institutions.
